The pieces for Girls‘ third season are starting to fall into place.
Following news of Christopher Abbott‘s departure from the critically-adored HBO comedy, The Hollywood Reporter has learned that British actor Richard E. Grant is set to appear. Details are thin on the character, but Grant will guest star in the season three premiere, playing Jasper.

Grant, whose film credits include The Iron Lady, Dracula and — quite memorably — Spice World, most recently top-lined the Doctor Who Christmas special.
Earlier this week, the actor took to Twitter to lament last-minute passport troubles for a trip to the U.S., presumably for his Girls gig.
Grant is repped by Artist Rights Group in the U.K.
