McCartney, who has been announcing summer tour dates sporadically over the past few weeks, also is booked to headline Bonnaroo in June. NIN will headline Lollapalooza the weekend before Outside Lands and head to Voodoo Fest in New Orleans in early November. Last year’s festival featured headlining sets from Neil Young, Metallica, Jack White, Foo Fighters and Skrillex.
Outside Lands also features curated Beer Lands and Wine Lands tents as well as food vendor booths from local restaurants. Participating wineries, breweries and restaurants will be announced in the coming weeks as well.
Tickets for Outside Lands 2013 will go on sale Thursday, April 18 at noon PDT on the festival’s website. Three-day passes cost $249.50, while three-day VIP passes cost $545. A portion of each ticket sale will benefit San Francisco’s Recreation and Parks Department.
