“The vibrant food scene of New Orleans will be a welcome addition in the 11th season of the series,” Bravo said in a statement.
One of the culinary jewels of the United States, New Orleans already has connections to the reality series. Season 5 ended with a two-part finale set in the city, and guest judge Emeril Lagasse owns several restaurants in the area.
Head judge Tom Colicchio has played himself on several episodes of HBO’s Treme, a drama set in the storied Louisiana port.
