Michael Jackson’s eldest son, Prince Jackson, is expected to testify in his father’s wrongful death trial on Wednesday, Reuters reports.
The Jackson family, including 83-year-old matriarch Katherine Jackson and the singer’s three young children, is suing concert promoter AEG Live for negligence in hiring Dr. Conrad Murray as Michael Jackson’s personal physician. Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2001, was caring Michael Jackson as he prepared for a series of comeback concerts in 2009.

Michael Jackson died four years ago, in June of 2009, from an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol. His son Prince Jackson, now 16, was 12 at the time.
Prince Jackson will take the stand following Gordon Matheson, a physician, who testified that Murray had a conflict of interest in caring for the pop superstar because of a mountain of debts. Matheson said that Murray’s monthly salary from AEG Live would bias his care.
