HONG KONG — Fox International Channels (FIC) inked a partnership deal with Thailand’s GMM Grammy to broadcast FIC’s international content on GMM Z’s platform.
The GMM Z platform will broadcast 27 new channels from FIC, including the general entertainment channel Star World, making it the pay TV network to acquire the largest number of channels from FIC.
GMM Z will begin with the prime-time broadcast of Star World on GMM Movie Channel 400 for 12 hours a day.
GMM Z previously acquired three channels from FIC,including Nat Geo Adventure, Nat Geo Wild and FOX Crime.
The companies will consider possible future collaborations, such as developing new content for GMM Grammy’s Z Pay TV.
