SACRAMENTO-
Police arrested 49-year-old Antwan Adger Wednesday afternoon after a standoff that lasted for about two hours.
According to police, he didn’t pull over when officers tried to stop him for an outstanding warrant and was chased into the Broadway area by an “outside agency.” He also allegedly hit two cars in the process.
Police say Adger ran into a home on 64th Street near 2nd Avenue and took a woman hostage.
The woman was able to leave her home safely and Adger surrendered about an hour later.
Adger was arrested for kidnapping, false imprisonment, burglary and the outstanding warrant.
