HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – Bobby Hayden Jr., whose life has careened from child stardom through rock star years to drug addiction, street dwelling and, now, recovery and faith, was featured this week on "Hour of Power," the national program broadcast from the Crystal Cathedral in southern California.

Hayden spoke in Huntsville in March 2012 at the Downtown Rescue Mission to share his miraculous experience of escaping 20 years of drug addiction and eight years of homelessness. A former member of Paul Revere and the Raiders and Ozzy Osbourne's band, Hayden now directs Cardboard Box Ministry from his home in Indiana to help other people escape homelessness and addiction.

Hayden shared his message of hope after hopelessness with the "Hour of Power" host, Pastor Bobby Schuller, and the program's worldwide audience on Sunday, May 19, 2013.
