Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been taken into custody after a massive manhunt and an exchange of gunfire with police Friday in Watertown, Mass.
His brother, suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, died in a shootout early Friday morning. Law enforcement officials declared the manhunt over, and Hollywood took to Twitter to celebrate the news.

While most tweets were positive, Zooey Deschanel noted the closed captioning on a local Fox affiliate mislabeled the suspect’s name as none other than Zooey Deschanel. “Whoa! Epic closed captioning FAIL!” the actress tweeted. Meanwhile, Donald Trump wondered if Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who was wounded and is in serious condition in the hospital, was “eligible for Obama Care?”
Trump received some flack for another tweet in which he called for the death penalty: “Get ALL the info, then quick trial, then death penalty for the Boston killer of innocent children and people! Do not be kind.”
He followed that with: “Should be public execution for all to see-you will end this bullshit fast!” After being attacked online for the comments, Trump reiterated that there should be a trial, “but fast (not a 12 year disaster).”
Find below what else Hollywood is saying about the end of the manhunt.
