Remember the days when Bollywood stars at the Cannes International Film Festival were a rare thing.
After globalisation dawned, beauty queens-turned-stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have ended up being regulars at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world.
In a brief time, the Bollywood bubble was all over Cannes and an "actor" like Mallika Sherawat landed up at Cannes, thanks to her blink-and-you-will-miss-it appearance in Jackie Chan's The Myth.
Going with the "excess is best" mantra, this year Bollywood will also be represented by Sherlyn Chopra though we don't know what her Bollywood credentials are. Apparently, the very-famous-but-why Sherlyn Chopra, who's a rage on twitter and social media, will be in Cannes for the unveiling of the "second trailer of her debut film Kamasutra 3D".
Sherlyn Chopra's only claim to fame till now has been that she's the "first-ever Indian girl" to be featured on Playboy. Hmmm.
