Christian Bale recently said he has no plans to wear the Batman cape and cowl ever again after wrapping up Christopher Nolan‘s trilogy with The Dark Knight Rises.
But fans of Bale’s Bruce Wayne can relive the series as much as they like with the Blu-ray “Ultimate Collector’s Edition” of the trilogy, which will hit stores Sept. 24.

The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector’s Edition features Nolan’s three films — Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises –– and will include two new featurettes and exclusive new collectible memorabilia. The six-disc set will cost $99.97.
The first new featurette, “The Fire Rises: The Creation and Impact of The Dark Knight Trilogy,” will take a look back at the creation of the franchise. It will feature never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews with Guillermo Del Toro, Damon Lindelof, Michael Mann, Richard Roeper, Zack Snyder and others.

The second new featurette is titled “Christopher Nolan & Richard Donner: A Conversation.” For the first time, Nolan will sit down with director Richard Donner (1978’s Superman) to discuss the process of bringing an iconic superhero to the big screen.
The collector’s edition also features new memorabilia including Hot Wheels vehicles of the Batmobile and Batpod; Mondo art cards of Scarecrow, Joker, Bane, Harvey Dent, and Ra’s al Ghul; and a 48-page hardcover book with images from all three films.
