Bangalore: The number of Indians in the billionaire club across the globe is increasing at a rapid pace and Indians settled abroad are nowhere behind when it comes to bagging the billionaire title. Have a look at the Indian American billionaires, based on a report by Forbes-

Romesh Wadhwani

Romesh Wadhwani, chairman and CEO of Symphony Technology Group, a Silicon Valley-based private equity firm has a net worth of $1.9 billion.

Wadhwani, who is the founder of Symphony Technology Group, has been successful in raising the revenue of the company to $2.5 billion. With his leadership and management experience he has taken the company to greater heights in the technology industry with a total employee count of 15,000 in less than a decade. This California based company specializes in acquisition, growth capital, and turnaround transactions.

Wadhwani holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of technology, Bombay. After moving to U.S in the year 1969 he received an M.S and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University based in Pennsylvania.
