SACRAMENTO COUNTY—
Authorities are on-scene of a vehicle rollover that has been declared a mass-casualty incident.
The crash is near Twin Cities and Christensen Roads, about 5 miles northwest of Galt. It was first reported around 4:23 p.m.
Cosumnes Fire officials say that at least eight people were hurt in the crash, suffering from moderate to serious injuries.
Three adults and five children are being treated. The children range in age from 2 to 13 years old.
Cosumnes Fire officials originally reported that seven people were hurt.
