RanchoRANCHO CORDOVA–

Sacramento County Sheriff’s are working a shooting scene near S White Rock Road and Laurelhurst Drive Wednesday morning.

Witnesses reported seeing an unresponsive man in a car.

Deputies responding to the scene found that man had been shot. He has been transported to a local hospital, with his condition unknown at this time.

Currently, authorities are knocking on doors around the area to see if anyone has any more information about what led up to the shooting.  White Rock Road between Laurelhurst and Capital Center drives is closed while authorities investigate.
