In the wake of Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” controversy (and wild success), the singer is giving his critics some fresh ammo.
Thicke’s latest single, titled “Give It 2 U,” includes lines such as: “I got this for you/ a little Thicke for you/ a big kiss for you/ I got a hit for you/ big dick for you/ let me give it to you.” Rapper Kendrick Lamar is featured on the song, spitting rhymes about “dick love” and wanting to “sit you where my face at” in his contribution.

Just weeks earlier, Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” was deemed “rapey” by critics, while the singer added fuel to the fire by acknowledging that “of course” the track is “degrading to women.”
“What a pleasure it is to degrade a woman,” he said in an interview with GQ. “I’ve never gotten to do that before. I’ve always respected women. So we wanted to turn it over on its head and make people go, ‘Women and their bodies are beautiful. Men are always gonna want to follow them around.’ ”
In the video for “Blurred Lines,” Thicke appears with guest vocalists Pharrell Williams and T.I. and a bevvy of topless models.

Amid criticism, “Blurred Lines” also quickly became Thicke’s most successful single to date. The track peaked at No. 1 in 14 countries, including the U.S., marking his first ever Hot 100 chart topper.
Thicke’s album of the same name is set to drop on July 30. Listen to “Give It 2 U” here.
