Catalina Denis has nabbed the female lead in the Paul Walker action movie Brick Mansions.
RZA and David Belle are already set in the EuropaCorp-Relativity Media production, which is currently shooting in Montreal and is a remake of the Luc Besson-written action movie District B13.
The script sees Walker play an undercover cop who is tasked with going into a tenement named Brick Mansions in order to disarm a neutron bomb possessed by the community’s drug warlord (RZA). Belle is a small-time dealer with whom he teams up.
Denis will play Belle’s girlfriend who is kidnapped by the warlord.
Camille Delamarre is directing the movie, which is being produced by Luc Besson, Ryan Kavanaugh, Tucker Tooley and Christophe Lambert.
The French-Colombian actress appeared in the French comedy Le mac as well as the French thriller Sleepless Night. She is also starring in the Canal Plus TV series The Tunnel.
Denis is repped by Thruline Entertainment and ACT 1 in France.
