Showtime has set the premieres of five returning series.
Matt LeBlanc‘s dark comedy Episodes will join House of Lies and Shameless as part of the pay cabler’s Sunday night block, debuting Jan. 12.
Shameless will kick off the night at 9 p.m. followed by House of Lies at 10 p.m., with Episodes closing out the evening at 10:30 p.m. When Episodes launches its third season, it would have been off the air for a year and a half.
Additionally, David Duchovny‘s Californication — returning for a seventh season — will now be paired with Nurse Jackie, both scheduled for April debuts.
Production on Penny Dreadful, starring Josh Hartnett and Eva Green, is slated to begin in October, Showtime entertainment president David Nevins said Tuesday during a Television Critics Association press tour.
