Johnson will offer her humorous take on human foibles through stories about her Texas childhood, relationships, marriage and family.
She gained notoriety in November 2012 for her Twitter war with Brown. When Brown tweeted “I look old as f–k! I’m only 23…,” Johnson replied: “I know! Being a worthless piece of shit can really age a person.”
Brown took offense and tweeted back: “Take them teeth out when u Sucking my dick HOE.” More tweets between the two followed with Johnson writing, It’s ‘HO’ not ‘HOE’ you ignorant f—.”

Finally Brown tweeted, “Just ask Rihanna if she mad??????” — a reference to his 2009 conviction for assaulting Rihanna — and then suspended his account, which he later restarted.
The incident cemented Johnson’s place as a Twitter celebrity, amassing more than 410,000 followers and racking up accolades as one of the funniest women on the microblogging site.
She is also a regular contributor to GQ , Grantland.com and Glamour.
Prior to embarking on her writing career, she was a television news producer in Houston where she still lives. She’s married and has two teenage stepchildren.
She is repped by WME and Mosaic. Executive editor Carrie Thornton represented It Books.
