One company in our area aims to give startup businesses a much needed boost.
The El Dorado Hills-based Velocity Venture Capital will host its “Epic Office Hours” event Aug. 29 in Folsom from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at their campus on 909 Mormon St. in Folsom.
“Epic Office Hours,” according to The Sacramento Bee, is described as the business version of speed dating.
A session lasts 20 minutes, and the goal is for the startups to get feedback and ideas for developing a business in the Sacramento Region.
