NBC topped Tuesday, towering over the competition in viewers and the advertiser-coveted demo.
America’s Got Talent (8.5 million total viewers, 2.2 rating in adults 18-49) led the way, and though the talent competition series tied its lowest Tuesday telecast, it was still enough to push NBC to No. 1. An encore of the recently renewed Hollywood Game Night (3.3 million, 1.0) aired at 8 p.m.
NBC averaged a 1.8 rating in primetime, while securing 6.8 million viewers.
Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance (4 million, 1.3) rose 4 percent and 8 percent in viewers and the demo, respectively. Fox placed third on the evening in both measures.
ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss (3.8 million, 1.1) slipped 15 percent compared to last week. A rerun of Body of Proof (3.1 million, 0.7) followed. ABC placed fourth behind Fox in 18-49 with a 1.0 average and was fourth in viewers with 3.5 million.
CBS was fifth with a night of repeats, averaging a 0.8 rating in the demo, and second in viewers with 6.5 million.
An original episode of The CW’s Whose Line Is It Anyway? delivered 2.3 million and a 0.9 rating, with Capture luring 1.1 million and a 0.4.
Here are the 18-49 rankings for Tuesday: NBC (1.8), Univision (1.4), Fox (1.3), ABC (1.0), CBS (0.8), The CW (0.7), Telemundo (0.5).
Here are the viewership rankings: NBC (6.8 million), CBS (6.5 million), Fox (4 million), ABC (3.54 million), Univision (3.5 million), The CW (1.7 million), Telemundo (1.2 million).
