The Owlwood Estate, the Holmby Hills mega compound that has been owned by the likes of 20th Century Fox founder Joe Schenck (who famously started his affair with Marilyn Monroe in its Italian Renaissance-style mansion), Tony Curtis and Sonny and Cher, has been on the market for about a year for a cool $150 million. But here’s the even cooler part: It turns out the password-protected video of the property is actually accessible. Narrated by listing agent (and Beverly Hills Housewife husband) Mauricio Umansky of The Agency, the footage gives a peek into the sprawling property, which was created about a decade ago by joining together three neighboring estates: Jayne Mansfield‘s since-demolished Pink Palace and another estate, once owned by Esther Williams and with a still-intact swimming pool and pool house. It’s now one of the city’s largest flat properties, and at 10 acres, it’s hands down Holmby Hills’ biggest parcel by about five acres. (For some perspective: Candy Spelling’s Golden Triangle spread went for $85 million to Petra Ecclestone and measured a mere 4.7 acres.)

Its current owner, Dawn Arnall, is the billionaire widow of the sub-prime mortgage mess maestro, Roland Arnall, founder of Ameriquest. According to real estate blog Real Estalker, the couple purchased what is now called the Owlwood Estate with a trio of transactions in 2002 for somewhere between $30 million and $35 million.
