Music executive and former X Factor judge L.A. Reid has put his six-bedroom New York City apartment on the market for $18.9 million.
The full-floor 5,000 square-foot Upper East Side condo is on the 10th floor of the prestigious 515 Park Ave. building. The loft-like modernist pad features an open living room, en suite baths in all bedrooms, art deco moldings, private elevator entry and “state of the art technology [that] puts the entire house at your fingertips with iPad controls,” according to a listing by co-agent The Modlin Group (with Brown Harris Stevens).

Also among its highlights: a walk-in dressing room, one of two connected to the master suite, which The Hollywood Reporter profiled in a June 2012 Style feature that took readers inside Reid’s closet (flip through the gallery here).
Reid, now chairman of Epic Records and previously with Island Def Jam, Arista Records and his own LaFace Records, purchased the apartment for $9.43 million in 2000, the year the building was completed. Developed by the Zeckendorf family, 515 Park has only 30 units on 43 floors and features 15 private wine cellars, a gym, valet and the services of chef Daniel Boulud, the official caterer for the building.

According to New York real estate site The Real Deal, previous tenants of the building on the corner of Park and East 60th Street include Christie’s owner François Pinault and alleged Israeli spy and former arms dealer Ari-Ben Menashe.
