Adobe has unveiled Project Mighty, what it describes as a cloud-connected stylus, and Project Napoleon, which is used as a sort of ruler aimed at bringing the feel of hand drawing to the digital realm.
These technologies were previewed Monday during the keynote at the Adobe MAX conference in Los Angeles.
Adobe also confirmed that it is dropping the Creative Suite brand name for its creative tools and replacing it with Creative Cloud branding. New versions of Adobe tools such as Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator will be integrated with Creative Cloud and will only be available through Creative Cloud when they become available June 17.
Speakers at the two-day MAX conference will include two-time Oscar winning VFX supervisor Rob Legato (Hugo, Titanic), who is scheduled to participate in Tuesday’s keynote.
You can check out video of the keynote including demos, as well as find additional information here.
