Alfred Hopton has joined Triple 7 Public Relations as a full-time publicist.
Hopton, who has nearly 20 years of experience working in the entertainment industry, joins the company’s Los Angeles office from Levine Communications. There, he led entertainment campaigns for film launches, nonprofit organizations, nutrition companies and events.
He previously worked for Baker Winokur Ryder in its corporate entertainment division, handling media relations for such companies as WWE, Ripe Digital, MEN7/Bennett Media, The Gersh Agency and Gersh Sports and New Wave Entertainment.
“Alfred is a talented publicist with an excellent reputation, dynamic personality and strong skillset,” Triple 7 president and CEO Carrie Simons says. “Having previously worked together at B|W|R, I’m confident that his experience and approach to PR will make him a perfect addition to our current team and a great asset to our client roster.”
Before B|W|R, Hopton worked for Carl Samrock Public Relations, the Laugh Factory and NBC Enterprises. He began his career at Rogers & Cowan.
