Jay Z and Timberlake performed for more than 60,000 fans at the Pasedena concert on Sunday night, including celebrities Robert Pattinson, Ludacris, Jessica Alba, Natalie Portman, Chris Colfer and Jay Z's wife, Beyonce.
Jay Z recently released his 12th studio album, Magna Carta … Holy Grail, which has held the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 for two weeks in a row.

The duo opened with a performance of "Holy Grail," with Timberlake and Jay Z appearing on opposite ends of the stage, which was decorated with classical Greek statues.
The concert lasted over two-and-a-half hours, with Timberlake and Jay Z performing some 36 songs spanning both their new albums as well as some older hits. "Rock Your Body," "Tom Ford," "Empire State of Mind" and "Cry Me a River" were among the songs performed at the show.
At the end of the night, Jay Z dedicated the final song of the show, "Forever Young," to Trayvon Martin, the unarmed teen who was shot and killed in February by neighborhood watch coordinator George Zimmerman.
The Rose Bowl was the duo's fifth stop on their Legends of the Summer tour, having kicked off on July 17 in Toronto. It will wrap up Aug. 16 in Miami Gardens.
