CORE Media Group has tapped Tim Sullivan as senior vp development and production.
The former head of development at Zodiak has signed on with the production company to develop and produce unscripted shows, the company announced Wednesday.
“Tim is an incredibly talented executive with deep relationships across networks. He instantly grasped CORE’s vision and approach for developing and producing TV shows and we are excited to have him on board as we continue to grow,” CORE head of U.S. Television Jen O’Connell said in a statement announcing the news Wednesday. Sullivan will report to O’Connell.
Prior to CORE, Sullivan set up shop at Zodiak USA, where he was senior vp and head of development, overseeing relationships with more than 45 production companies worldwide. The former Top Chef Just Desserts producer also was a director of development at Magical Elves.
The addition comes as CORE expands its development team under president Marc Graboff, most recently acquiring Sharp Entertainment and a stake in Rhett Bachner and Brien Meagher’s B17.
“CORE has tremendous resources but the feel and flexibility of a start-up,” Sullivan said. “Marc, Jen and the entire team bring a true entrepreneurial spirit and working with them was an opportunity I could not pass up.”
