Canadian media group Entertainment One has seen its rights library reevaluated at more than $650 million following an independent valuation by FTI Consulting Inc.
The valuation is about 85 percent higher than the $350 million value placed on EOne’s library in 2012, a boost mainly due to the company’s acquisition of fellow Canuck media group Alliance Films in January.

The $230 million Alliance deal made EOne the largest independent film distributor in Canada and the U.K. with operations stretching to Spain, Benelux and Australia. EOne will soon release Hunger Games: Catching Fire in multiple territories.
