Studio Lambert USA has found itself a chief.
Renegade 83’s Greg Goldman has been tapped as president of the Los Angeles-based studio, which not only adapts formats created by Stephen Lambert’s eponymous U.K. company but also creates and produces U.S. originals. In the new role, Goldman, who created and executive produced NBC’s Ready For Love and CW’s Capture, will create, sell and oversee original efforts as well as help bring those formats to the U.S. market.

“I am delighted to be back in business with Greg who is a rare breed of executive with experience as an outstanding producer, network buyer and development executive,” said Lambert, who will remain in his dual role as CEO of Studio Lambert and chairman of All3Media America. “He is the ideal person to head up the new Studio Lambert USA, which will benefit from his huge creative drive, the support of his All3A colleagues and a strong Studio Lambert development base in London.”
Lambert and Eli Holzman, president of parent company All3Media America, will continue to shepherd and executive produce the company’s existing slate of shows, such as CBS’ Undercover Boss and NBC’s upcoming Ryan Seacrest-hosted game show, Million Second Quiz, for which NBC has high hopes. The pair also will lend support to Goldman’s new slate and those of the other All3Media America companies, including Maverick USA, Lime USA and Objective USA.
Prior to Renegade, Goldman, who once graced THR’s Next Generation list, was the executive VP of development and current for RDF USA, where he developed, sold and executive produced more than 20 shows, on both broadcast and cable. Among them: Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Secret Millionaire and Shaq’s Big Challenge. Before that, Goldman was an executive director of development at ABC, where he oversaw reality series such as Wife Swap, The Bachelor and America’s Funniest Home Videos.
