Driver is a solidly-built right-hander with a strong build. He looks like he could be a durable innings eater. He doesn't look like he will have a hard time acclimating to the rigors of a long season in the minors. The delivery is clean and repeatable.

With a fastball that sits 91-93 and occasionally pops 94 with good movement, he has a strong pitch to build off of. He works the lower half of the strike zone a lot and sinks the fastball as well. It is a really good fastball for a prep arm. He has a power-breaking ball that is a low 80's pitch with a lot of potential but it is inconsistent. It could be an average offering. His change is similar in the fact that it needs development but it flashes plus potential while being delivered with similar arm speed as the fastball. He has been working on a cutter but that is a work in progress and I didn't get a good feel for it's potential.

While Driver doesn't have frontline potential, he looks like he is likely to be a solid mid rotation arm. He has good poise on the mound, attacks the zone and does it with a simple, low effort delivery. He is committed to UCLA and they have had a good run of solid commitments over the last couple years. That doesn't mean someone won't take him late in the first round or early in the second and talk him out of becoming a Bruin.
