ROSEVILLE-

Deputies arrested a man they say was “aggressively” driving a stolen car Friday in Roseville.

The man, identified as 33-year-old Michael Wayne Adams, led Placer County Sheriff’s deputies on a chase starting at East Roseville Parkway and Eureka Road.

Deputies say they tried to pull Adams and his passenger over for driving aggressively and not having working tail lights.

The chase ended a mile away when the car crashed into a median at Douglas Boulevard. Deputies say Adams and the passenger tried to run, but the passenger was caught almost immediately.

Adams ran to a nearby office building, where deputies say he changed into pink sweatpants. It’s unknown where he found the sweatpants.

Deputies eventually arrested Adams on the second floor of the building. He was booked into jail on charges of car theft, possession of stolen property and evading arrest.

Investigators say the car was stolen out of Cameron Park.
