SACRAMENTO-

The California Department of Public Health announced Thursday that they’ve issued penalties to 10 state hospitals.

In our region, UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento and Memorial Medical Center in Modesto were fined $50,000 and $100,000, respectively.

UC Davis Medical Center was fined for failing to follow established policies related to patient care. Memorial was fined for the same reason, but it was their third penalty versus UC Davis’ first.
