SACRAMENTO—

The Sacramento Police Department has released a sketch of a man wanted in five separate armed robberies.

All five robberies happened over the course of two days, each throughout downtown and midtown. Two men are suspected in each robbery, but only one sketch has been released.

In the first robbery, the suspect walked up to a group near 27th and E Streets around 12:53 a.m. on July 20. The suspect is said to have pointed a gun at two women, robbing them.

Less than 10 minutes later, just a few blocks down the road – near 24th and G Streets – the same suspect robbed two men at gunpoint.

Two more armed robberies within five minutes of each other reported the next morning in midtown.

In the final incident, near 19th and R Streets around 3:15 a.m., a man and a woman were again threatened by a man at gunpoint. They ran away and instead called security to report the incident.

No one was hurt in any of the incidents.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (916) 264-5471.
