SACRAMENTO COUNTY—
A driver led authorities on a short chase Wednesday morning.
The incident started as an attempted traffic stop around 6:40 a.m. near Antelope and Roseville roads.
Officers tried to pull the car over for a traffic violation, but the car took off.
After a short chase, the driver stopped the car behind the Home Depot and bolted from the car. Officers were able to detain a woman inside the car, but have not indicated if she was arrested.
Just before 8 a.m., CHP officers were seen taking into custody a man believed to be the driver of the car.
