The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department says a man would not comply with their orders Monday morning.
Department spokesman Sergeant Jason Ramos says a family member called to report a man “drunk and agitated” earlier in the morning.
Ramos told FOX40 that the man possibly has weapons in his home on Petty Lane and keeps walking in and out of the house, but won’t listen to deputies.
In the meantime, neighbors were asked to shelter in place.
The 29-year-old man was later taken into custody after being shot with non-lethal rounds.
