Wired has officially joined Conde Nast Entertainment’s Digital Video Network stable, the company announced Wednesday.
The technology and lifestyle magazine will become the fourth to be added to the video network, following the network’s launch of slates for GQ, Glamour and, recently, Vogue.

Five original web series were announced for Wired‘s video channel. The offerings include shows featuring tech and video game commentary along with ambitious-sounding offering like Codefellas — an animated, scripted show starring John Hodgman that’s described as “set within the secret world” of the National Security Agency.
The series will live on Wired‘s website as well as on the official YouTube channel of the magazine brand.
“Wired has always been more than a magazine. For the last twenty years, we’ve aggressively pursued new storytelling platforms—setting the standard on the web, the tablet, and in live events. With our new slate of web video programming, we’re continuing to push forward, bringing Wired‘s trademark intelligence and wit to a new medium,” said Scott Dadich, editor-in-chief, in a press release.
Other show titles include The Window, a global travelogue of construction projects, What’s Inside, the science about everyday objects, and Mr. Know It all, a tech advice column show.
The Conde Nast Digital Network was announced in March as part of the magazine publisher’s foray into web video content. According to WWD, Vanity Fair will also join the network and premiere in June.
