But Vanessa Hudgens looked grown-up and sophisticated at a recent event in New York City.
The 24-year-old actress wore stylish black jeans and a cream blazer as she posed on the red carpet at the DVF Loves Roxy Launch Event on Wednesday in Manhattan.

The High School Musical star donned high-waisted skinny jeans, a simple grey tank top and a loose cream blazer with black trimming to the event, which was held at a Roxy store.
She added an edgy touch to the elegant outfit with snakeskin heels that sported a T-shaped strap.
The star wore her jet black hair in tousled beachy waves that fell prettily around her shoulders.
The natural beauty showed off her flawless complexion, adding just a touch of peachy blush and a slick of rosy pink gloss to her lips. She highlighted her brown eyes with black eyeliner and smokey eyeshadow.

The actress told JustJared.com at the event that she is 'so all over the place' with her fashion choices.
'Some days I’ll wanna dress like super chic and minimal, and other days I’ll wanna layer as many necklaces as I can,' said the star.
'For the carpet Jenny Packham is always amazing. Naeem Khan I’ve been wearing a bunch of his dresses. There’s just so many amazing designers in the world!' she added.

Vanessa has just completed a whirlwind European promotional tour for her upcoming movie Spring Breakers, which follows the adventures of four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation.
The foursome eventually find themselves bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who wants them to do some dirty work.
She is also set to co-star in Machete Kills with Danny Trejo and Mel Gibson, directed by Robert Rodriguez later this year.
