Alec Baldwin appears to have deleted his Twitter account — again.
The actor reportedly sent out a slew of tweets targeted at the Daily Mail, which reported that his wife, Hilaria, had sent tweets while attending James Gandolfini‘s funeral service Thursday in New York.

“The pregnant yoga instructor’s social media feed was full of upbeat posts while the Sopranos star’s friends, family and co-stars were gripped with grief at a New York Catholic church,” the story reads. “Messages included a request for ideas about wedding anniversary presents and promotional notes about her upcoming appearance on the Rachael Ray show.”
It also noted several retweets, including one from Rachael Ray‘s show promoting her recipe for a summer smoothie and an Us Weekly story about herself.
Baldwin, whose latest Twitter handle was @ABFalecbaldwin, reportedly took to the social-media site to post a series of scathing messages aimed at Daily Mail reporter George Stark. (While the story’s byline now says “Daily Mail Reporter,” at least one blogger noted that it had originally been Stark’s name.)
“Someone wrote that my wife was tweeting at a funeral. Hey. That’s not true. But I’m gonna tweet at your funeral,” he wrote, as captured by Buzzfeed and other outlets.
In a series of tweets that included links to the Daily Mail story, Baldwin added: “George Stark, you lying little bitch. I am gonna f— you up. … I want all of my followers and beyond to straighten out this f—ing little bitch, George Stark. @MailOnline … My wife and I attend a funeral to pay our respects to an old friend, and some toxic Brit writes this f—ing trash … If put my foot up your f—ing ass, George Stark, but I’m sure you’d dig it too much … I’m gonna find you, George Stark, you toxic little queen, and I’m gonna f— … you …up.” (Expletives have been censored by The Hollywood Reporter.)

He also wrote that he doesn’t have a publicist anymore because he “fired them” and insisted that his wife didn’t use her phone during the funeral service.
“How much of this shit are people supposed to take? With these f—ing blatant lies EVERY DAY,” he wrote, adding: “My wife DID NOT use her phone, in any capacity, at our friends funeral. Now, f— this Twitter + good luck to all of you who know the truth.”
Clicking on the link to his Twitter page now brings up a “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!” message.
For her part, Hilaria also took to Twitter to defend herself, writing in a series of tweets: “Here is some info … When someone tweets something at a certain time, and you retweet it later, it posts the TIME the first person tweeted.”
She added: “I don’t know what hurts more: people randomly and maliciously writing lies about you, or the people who actually believe them.”
She also wrote that she doesn’t “believe in bringing phones into a funeral and I never did and I never would.”
It’s unclear whether Stark himself has responded; his tweets can be seen only by his followers.
In December 2011, Baldwin deleted his Twitter account following his infamous dispute with American Airlines over the game Words With Friends. He had tweeted that he was “reamed” by a flight attendant for playing the game on his cell phone just before takeoff at Los Angeles International Airport and was removed from the flight.

Later that day, he tweeted: “Let’s play a game called Mass Unfollowing. I want to crash this acct and start again. But, tonight at 10 PM NY time, unfollow me.” The next morning, his account was listed as “deactivated.”
And in July 2012, he quit Twitter again, just two days after marrying Hilaria. “It’s been fun,” he reportedly tweeted before closing his account.
He also has had run-ins with the media before, including in February, when he and a photographer for the New York Post exchanged words. The photographer claimed Baldwin called him a racial epithet, while Baldwin shot down the claims.
The couple are expecting their first child together — a girl — this summer.
