STOCKTON—

Police are looking for information on a hit-and-run case that injured a man in a wheelchair.

The incident happened back on August 15 around 5:42 p.m. near Country Club Boulevard and N. Ryde Avenue.

Officers showed up and found that a 53-year-old man in a wheelchair had been hit by a driver. The crash ejected the man from his wheelchair and sent him to the hospital. The driver was nowhere to be seen.

Investigators found that a white Ford Expedition had hit the man then drove off. The driver is believed to be a young black man who had long dreadlocked hair tied back in a ponytail.
