TURLOCK—

Six people no older than 23 years old were arrested in Turlock for breaking into and burglarizing a Turlock home Wednesday.

Dispatchers were alerted to the situation around 9:17 a.m. after someone reported seeing a suspicious car at a house near Roth Court and N. Tully Road. The car was parked in a driveway and had several people inside.

After hearing a loud noise, the caller concluded that the house was being burglarized.

Just a little down the street, near Countryside Drive, officers stopped the car. One of the suspects tried to run from police, but officers were able to quickly take him into custody.

Officers soon found allegedly stolen property in the car, including two rifles, a shotgun, a handgun, a wallet and a cellphone. The property is from two separate, unreported robberies from earlier, police say.

Arturo Morales, Joey Mosqueda and Monique Romero – all only 18-years-old – were arrested for burglary and conspiracy charges. 23-year-old Ricky Florez and two 17-year-olds were also arrested for burglary and conspiracy charges.
