• Space shuttle Discovery makes final flight over Washington D.C.
  Staff at AHA headquarters, as well as thousands of others on the National Mall, were treated this past Tuesday to the sight of space shuttle Discovery being flown to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center. • Academic Workforce Data Center
  The Modern Language Association’s Academic Workforce Data Center provides access to data on working conditions for contingent faculty at universities around the country.
• 2012 Guggenheim Fellows

• $235,500 Released for NCPTT Grants Program
  The National Park Service has awarded $235,500 in grants to fund projects that use technology to “preserve the treasures of the past.”

• Titanic crew and passenger records now online
  The UK. National Archives has put Titanic crew and passenger records online. See also the Titanic-related stories, videos, podcasts, and other resources in the UK Archives online Titanic exhibit.
