Florida Georgia Line and Miranda Lambert were among the big winners at Wednesday’s CMT Music Awards, honoring the best and brightest in today’s country music.
In addition to taking trophies for Duo Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year, the “Cruise” performers also hit the stage with rapper Nelly to perform a remix of their hit single. Lambert, meanwhile, brought home awards for Female Video of the Year for her “Mama’s Broken Heart” and CMT Performance of the Year for “Over You,” which she performed live on the 2012 CMT Artists of the Year broadcast.

Video of the Year, the night’s top honor, was announced at the end of the telecast and went to Carrie Underwood for “Blown Away.”
Lambert’s hubby, Blake Shelton, also was honored at the ceremony, earning the award for Male Video of the Year for his “Sure Be Cool If You Did.” Lady Antebellum was awarded Group Video of the Year for “Downtown.”
In the Collaborative Video of the Year category, show co-host Jason Aldean came out on top alongside Luke Bryan and Eric Church for their performance of “The Only Way I Know” at last year’s CMA Awards.
The 2013 CMT Music Awards were co-hosted by Aldean and the returning Kristen Bell. Aldean opened the show alongside rocker Lenny Kravitz with a performance of the hit “American Woman.” Afterwards, the hosts brought the laughs with a pre-taped short centering on therapy and featuring Kelsey Grammer, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Lorraine Bracco, Vince Vaughn, Carrie Underwood, Shelton, Bryan and Reba McEntire.
The 11th annual ceremony also featured performances from Underwood, Bryan, McEntire, Kacey Musgraves, Darius Rucker, Hunter Hayes, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town and Taylor Swift.
