A day after giving advertisers at the network’s upfront presentation to Madison Avenue, CBS has released an extended look at summer drama Under the Dome.

The two-and-a-half-minute extended preview offers a glimpse of a larger piece of the puzzle of just why the entire town of Chester’s Mill is mysteriously sealed under a massive dome and separated from the rest of society.
The Dean Norris-led ensemble hails from Brian K. Vaughan (Lost, Y: The Last Man), who adapts Stephen King‘s book for Stephen Spielberg‘s Amblin Television with Neal Baer (A Gifted Man) on board as showrunner.

“It’s a super fun pulpy show with great characters,” Vaughan told a packed ballroom in April at WonderCon in Anaheim, where the first footage debuted.
Under the Dome premieres June 24 on CBS. Check out the clip, below.
