Adam Lambert celebrated his 33rd birthday by giving his fans a present and revealing the title of his forthcoming album.
The American Idol season-eight alum took to Facebook to make the announcement that his new album will be called The Original High.
“Thank you for all the birthday love!” the Queen frontman wrote on his page. “Thrilled to announce the title of my upcoming album: THE ORIGINAL HIGH. The album is executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback, with 1st single out in April.”
Lambert officially confirmed news of a new recording contract with Warner Bros. Records to Billboard earlier this month.
“I think people are going to be really surprised,” Lambert told Billboard. “The album feels like a new era for me — emotionally, lyrically, sonically. It feels fresh, it feels new. It’s still me. It’s still stuff that fans know and love but it’s a new chapter 100 percent.”
