Grant of the Week: Patrick Henry Fellowship from the C.V. Starr Center

The C.V. Starr Center for the Study of the American Experience at Washington College is accepting applications for its Patrick Henry Fellowship. This full-time residential fellowship program supports outstanding writing on American history and culture by scholars and nonacademic writers alike. Prospective recipients should have a significant book-length project currently in progress. The fellowship includes a $45,000 stipend, health benefits, faculty privileges, a book allowance, and a nine-month residency (during the academic year 2008-09) in a restored circa-1735 house in historic Chestertown, Maryland.
