The American Studies Association is offering the Ralph Henry Gabriel Dissertation Prize of $500 to the best doctoral dissertation in American Studies, American Ethnic Studies, or American Women’s Studies. Eligible dissertations must have been completed between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010. Nominations must come from the graduate studies program, not from the individual who wrote the dissertation.  The winning author must be a member of the ASA.  For more information see the dissertation prize page.
