STOCKTON –

Two dogs were rescued from a burning home on Friday afternoon.

A three alarm fire raged in two homes on Rosecrans Way in Stockton. Authorities are not sure how the fire started, but they know that it travelled between the houses along an adjoining fence.

A neighbor called 9-1-1 after he saw smoke. He then ran over to the house and saved the two dogs that were tied to a tree in the front yard. Both dogs are healthy, but one Doxon died inside.

No one was hurt, but one house is completely destroyed and the other house has over $60,000 of damage.
