I made the update. Came from 6503 4.2.2 DE. Smooth and no more lags with stock launcher and apps page... Lose root... I made my apps backup with the built in backup app that came with Sony, awesome app, recovered even my apps personal data...

Can anybody with the update checkout the softwareversions of: Album, Camera, Movies and Walkman...
Wanna know if Sony has updated this versions already in comparison with the .423 software

Thanks! And is 'Music Unlimited' a part of the Walkman-app or still a application on it's own?
This review says the battery bug is fixed, but at least for Xperia Z, from which forum I've been following up this discussion, it seems it's NOT fixed. At least 2 or 3 users have already mentioned that after rebooting when battery is at 20-25%, it jumps to incorrect readings like 50% (same behavior as with .423 ROM).
Can the ZL users here test and report if it's really fixed, at least for our device?

I upgraded to .244 using the C6503 firmware and rooted, works like a charm!

I really wonder why you both feel the need to hide the baseband version and/or kernel version?
It's a VERSION number, no personal details or anything. It's the same for everyone who uses that firmware build.

Changelog :-
1. Album app taking a bit time to load pics ( even from UHS Class 10 card ).
2. 3G Signal strength improved.
3. Touch response is improved a lot
4. Battery dropped by 2% During test and a lot heated during test.
5. Sleep and Wake is a bit faster now.
6. Camera Image quality in dark improved.
7. Changes in car mode app.
8. No screen flickering now.
9. No unusual battery reading bug till now. Booted twice in between 30-20% battery and having no issues.

Maybe... I tried MEA before flash back the brazilian generic and got some problems even after a hard reset. (before and after the update)
Now everything are fine,rock solid.
This isn't placebo to me,it's instability of the "same" version.
Could be the .ftf but,now it doesn't matter.
