Authorities are investigating four disturbing reports that has Manteca residents worried about children’s safety.

All four incidents look to involve different suspects. Police stress that there has been no physical contact between the suspects and children in each of the incidents.

The first incident happened by Sierra High School, near Wawona Street and Fishback Road, back on Friday around 3:20 p.m. A man driving an older turquoise Ford Excursion is said to have exposed himself.

Just a block down the road near Wawona Street and Winters Drive, and around the same time, a different suspect is also said to have exposed himself. That man was driving a tan-colored extended cab pickup truck with a camper shell.

The next incident happened Monday, near George McParland Elementary School along Northgate Drive. Again, a man is said to have exposed himself. That man was driving a black, newer-model car.

Just Tuesday morning, the final incident saw a man approach a child near Manteca Christian Preschool and make inappropriate comments. The man was driving an older black car with rust on the hood. A pit bull was also inside the man’s car.

In response to the reports, police patrols will be increasing.
