While some big box retailers in Canada have already been selling the Nexus 7 (2013) for a few weeks, Google has just made the 7-inch tablet available via Google Play. The prices are cheaper than hitting up your local Best Buy, Staples, or Future Shop: 16GB for $229 and 32GB for $269 – includes free shipping and promises a delivery within “1 – 2 business days.” No indication of the LTE version.
Update: Google has also released a new “Nexus 7 Sleeve.” This is a form-fitting case – Black on the outside and grey on the inside – that is made of “is both padded and lined with microfiber fur for double the cushioning.” Retails for $29.99 (CDN) and weighs 105 grams.
