Hollywood’s favorite side characters were center stage when The Hollywood Reporter assembled 27 of TVs top supporting stars for a group portrait.
During a May 1 shoot at Siren Orange Studios in Los Angeles, the Emmy contenders were asked what they liked about their colleagues’ shows. Standing next to The Walking Dead’s Steven Yuen, Mad Men’s Kevin Rahm said he dug “the violence.”
“I want to run around with a crossbow and an ax and smash things,” he said.
The stars also picked which shows they would like to guest star on and came up with some interesting choices.

The Office’s Ellie Kemper is pining for a spot on Mad Men, while Arrested Development’s Tony Hale wants to guest on The Walking Dead. Californication’s Pamela Adlon‘s odd pick: Hoarders (seriously!).
Meanwhile, they also spoke about their worst jobs in Hollywood. Simon Helberg (CBS’ The Big Bang Theory) did a MasterCard commercial where he “had to wear a rubber suit and be harnessed in the air for 14 hours.” Garrett Morris (CBS’ 2 Broke Girls) once booked five horror films in a row.
“And one that was a cult favorite was called The Stuff. I was an alien from another planet,” he said. “Don’t laugh!”
