TORONTO – Grindstone Entertainment Group has picked up the North American rights to Sam Logan Khaleghi’s For Love of Country: Approaching Midnight from producers SLK Media Group & 12 A.M. Pictures.
Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release the action thriller, which stars Jana Kramer and Logan Khalegi in late 2013, after the producers self-release the picture theatrically, starting a with a charitable world premiere in Detroit on August 27, 2013.

That agreement comes as part of a movie slate deal that Lionsgate has with Grindstone.
For Love of Country: Approaching Midnight portrays a U.S. army staff sergeant ( Logan Khaleghi) who fights the threat of corruption and deception in his hometown after returning from battle.
The film also stars Mia Serafino, Dean Teaster, Brandon T. Jackson and Michelle Lynne Balser.
“Sam has crafted a unique and exciting addition to the returning vet/war genre and we are thrilled to play a part in it and help the film find its audience,” Ryan Black of Grindstone Entertainment Group said Thursday in a statement.
